These terms cover Reelmute. By installing or using the app you agree to them.

Who you are agreeing with

Reelmute is published by Peidus Products OÜ, Ahtri tn 12, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. This agreement is between you and us. It is not with Apple, Google, or any other store you obtained the app from. We are solely responsible for the app and its content.

What Reelmute is

Reelmute opens the social networks it supports inside the app and hides their endless-video surfaces before the page draws. The hiding happens on your device, in your copy of the page. We do not scrape, re-host, cache or republish anything belonging to those networks, we do not route your traffic through our servers, and we change nothing on their side.

You are still using each network under that network's own terms, and your relationship with them is unchanged. Reelmute is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.

Your accounts stay yours

You sign in on each network's own page, inside the app. We never see your passwords, and those sessions stay on your device. Keeping your accounts secure, and complying with each network's rules, remains yours to do.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Reelmute on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with the store's usage rules. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the app, or remove any notice from it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law. The app, its design and its code remain our property or that of our licensors.

Subscriptions and purchases

One removal, on one network, is free forever. Premium unlocks the rest, and is optional. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings, not in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
• The one-off purchase. A single payment that never renews. It lasts for as long as we publish Reelmute and the platform it runs on supports it — it is not a promise of perpetual service.
• Refunds. Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are Apple's to give under their policy.

Your designated adult

You may appoint someone to grant you extra time on the apps you have chosen to lock. Being that person is free, and they see nothing about what you do.

This is friction and accountability, not enforcement, and we do not present it as anything more. Screen Time can be switched off in your device's own settings, and the app can be deleted, at any time and without telling anyone. It works because you asked someone to hold the line, not because we can stop you.

The feature is for your own device. It is not a way to monitor or control another adult, and it is not a parental-control service for someone else's phone.

Acceptable use

Use Reelmute lawfully. Do not use it to break a network's rules, to interfere with the app or our relay, to attempt to gain access to anything you are not entitled to, or to build a competing service from it.

Availability and changes

The networks redesign their pages whenever they like, and a removal that works today may need updating tomorrow. We keep the rules current, and we ship changes as quickly as we reasonably can, but we cannot promise that any particular removal will keep working, or that a network will remain supported. We may add, change or withdraw features, and may stop publishing the app.

Apple

For copies obtained from the App Store the following applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.

• These terms are between you and us only. Apple is not a party to them.
• The licence above is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules, except that it may be accessed by other accounts through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app, its content, and any maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to furnish either.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, claims under consumer protection or similar legislation, and any claim that the app infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.

No warranty

Reelmute is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that defects will be corrected. Nothing here limits the statutory rights of a consumer under mandatory law, including the EU rules on the conformity of digital content.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or missed events, arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. We may end it if you breach these terms. The sections that by their nature should survive termination do so.

Governing law

Estonian law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and may bring proceedings there.

Changes to these terms

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use Reelmute after a change means you accept it.
